Lockport Junior Miss Softball is pleased to offer Fall Ball! Details can be accessed below.

Ages

Players must be born between 9/1/2012 and 8/31/2022.

12U: 9/1/2012 and younger

10U: 9/1/2014 and younger

8U: 9/1/2016 and younger

6U: 9/1/2018 and younger

NOTE: It is recommended that if your child has not played softball before that they play as young a level as possible.

When

Season begins with practices in August. Games will be held 9/1/2026-10/17/2026.

Where

Practices are held at Dellwood Park Softball Fields 1 and 2, and Westside Park (Dominic Fracaro Park). Coaches may include additional practice sites based on availability.

Away games will be held in Homer Glen. Additional sites may be added.

Practices

Teams will practice 1-2 times a week in August, then once a week September through the end of the season.

Games

Teams can expect to play one game on Saturday during the season. Makeup games are TBD.

Jerseys

A jersey will be provided (included in the registration fee).

Extra Costs

There is a 2% processing fee on credit card transactions for league registration.

If your player has not played organized softball, or wishes to purchase new softball pants or socks, please visit or call Sports Huddle, 922 E. 9th St., Lockport, (815) 838-8522.

If there is enough interest, a team shop may be opened up to purchase fan gear.

Frequently Asked Questions

What required equipment does my daughter need to play?

We ask that all players have their own gloves, bats, helmets, and field masks. Sports Huddle in Lockport is a great local store that should have everything you need, but Dick's Sporting Goods and Amazon are also good alternatives. Many parents have had success finding secondhand sporting goods on Facebook Marketplace and similar sites.
