2026 LJMS Spring Softball

Welcome back to another great season of Lockport Junior Miss Softball for 2026! For those that are new this year, welcome to the family! We are excited to get this season started and make it our best yet!

Ages

Our league is for girls ages 4-12. We have four levels of players.

6U,8U,10U,12U

When

The season begins with practices starting around 4/1, with games starting a few weeks after. The season will run through June.

Schedules will be formed shortly after registration closes.

Where

Practices are generally held on one of the Lockport Park District Fields.

Games are played in Lockport, Lemont, & Homer Glen

Practices

Teams generally practice 2 times per week, and is at the discretion of the coaches. We do our best to find times that work for everyone, but understand if families have other engagements and priorities. Coaches will reach out with more info once we have rostered the girls.

Games

Teams will play at least 10 games, with some age levels playing more. Games will be played on both weeknights and weekends through the spring and early summer.

Jerseys

Jerseys, pants, socks, and belt (depending on age level) are provided and included in the cost of registration.

Frequently Asked Questions

What required equipment does my daughter need to play?

We ask that all girls have their own gloves, bats, helmets, and field masks. Sports Huddle in Lockport is a great local store that should have everything you need, but Dick's Sporting Goods and Amazon are also good alternatives.
